Greek Association of Law
& Economics
1st GALE Young
Scholars Workshop (Athens, February 18, 2004)
Newsletter (February
2004)
The Greek Association of
Law & Economics was established in 2002 after the organization of the 19th Annual Conference of the European Association of Law &
Economics (EALE) in Athens.
It is an informal organization with 181 members: lawyers,
economists and other social scientists. It aspires to be a connecting network
of people interested in Law & Economics in Greece, especially young scholars.
One of its objectives is the organization of an annual colloquium where young
researchers (esp. graduate students in Law & Economics) will have the
opportunity to present their work.
It is coordinated by Aristides Hatzis, an
Assistant Professor at the University
of Athens and a former member
of the Steering Committee of the European Association of Law & Economics.
Since the organization is
informal, there is no membership fee. An electronic newsletter is periodically
distributed to all registered members.
To join GALE, you can download the
registration form by clicking here.
